- What are the uses of your Aloe Spray? - Can your products cause skin irritation? All of our products are made with organic and natural ingredients and are generally considered the safest option for those with sensitive skin; however, there are certain ingredients that could cause skin irritation or allergic reactions in select individuals. Read the ingredients carefully and do not use our products if you are allergic to any ingredient. If you are known to have sensitive skin, we recommend you try a small patch of skin initially to determine if there is any skin irritation before using it all over your body. If skin irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult with a doctor.
- Can I use it on my face? - The skin on the face is generally more delicate and sensitive. So, you are going to want to be extra careful if you want to use this on your facial skin. It may be used on facial skin following the same general guidelines for skin sensitivity testing outlined above, but we do not recommend it for those who have known common skin conditions on the face such as acne, rosacea, milia, etc.. Avoid contact with eyes and flush well with water if exposed. If skin irritation occurs, or the product comes in contact with your eye, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
- Will my skin feel greasy when using Body Oil? - It might depend on how much you use and the viscosity of the blend in a given product. However, as you start to massage the oil in, you will notice that any greasy feeling quickly dissipates as the oil is absorbed into your skin. Still too greasy? Try using less or switch to one of Aloe Sprays that are primarily water based providing the same blends of essential oils with a lighter touch and 100% concentration of aloe vera to promote skin hydration.
- Is there a best time to apply Body Oil or Aloe Spray? - To lock in moisture and for best absorption, the ideal time to apply my body oil is after a shower or bath when the skin is clean, warm, and slightly damp, but can be applied at any time with nearly identical results.
- Can I use moisturizer with your Body Oil or Aloe Spray? Since oils are generally heavier, moisturizers may not break through to provide hydration when used in conjunction with our Body Oils. However, moisturizes may be used to complement the benefits of our Aloe Spray since they are primarily water based. If you are set on using moisturizer and Body Oil, apply the oil first for best results.
- Which Body Oil do you recommend for a massage? All of Body Oils can be used for any type of massage, but we suggest No. 4: Relax
- Can your Body Oils be used as a lubricant? While our Body Oil’s do have naturally lubricating properties due to the viscosity of the oils used in them, they are strictly for external use only due to the essential oil within them.
